Mississippi County Health Department will sponsor a FREE FLU SHOT Clinic Friday October 10th, 2025 at the Manila Community Center from 9:am until 12:pm. Everyone welcome!

THE TRASH TRUCK HAS BEEN FIXED AND HAS RESUMED TRASH PICK-UP, HOWEVER THEY ARE BEHIND FROM BEING DOWN. PlEASE BE PATIENCE AS THEY WORK TO GET CAUGHT UP.

MANILA RESIDENTS - FALL CLEAN-UP WILL BE SEPTEMBER 24 THRU 26. DURING THIS WEEK DUMPSTERS WILL BE SET THROUGH OUT THE CITY FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE. THERE WILL BE NO STREET TO STREET PICK-UP!!! YOU WILL NEED TO BRING UNWANTED ITEMS TO THE DUMPSTERS. YOU CANNOT DUMP PAINT, TIRES, BATTIES, SHINGLES OR ANYTHING WITH FREON.

COMMUNITY TAILGATE!!! October 3 from 5pm until game time! Located between the high school and the football field. See you there!!

The city of Manila will test the tornado sirens the 4th Friday of every month.

Don’t forget to pull your trash cans back of the road after your trash is picked up.

ALL TRASH MUST BE BAGGED FOR THE TRASH TRUCK TO PICK IT UP. THIS IS CITY ORDINANACE #2013-03 THIS WENT INTO EFFECT JULY 15, 2013.

FYI—If you would like the city to pick of leaves, you will have to put them in trash bags and set them close to the road. If leaves are not in bags they will not be picked up.

Manila City Council meeting is the second Monday of every month at 6:00 pm at the old city hall building, across from Pro Hardware.
